These terms cover your use of Kairo. By creating an account, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.
Kairo is a private photo journal you keep with your friends. Each week you get a prompt, capture up to three postcards, and everyone’s week reveals together on Thursday. You need an Apple ID to sign in, and you must be at least 13 years old to use Kairo.
You’re responsible for what happens under your account. Don’t impersonate someone else, and don’t share access to your account with anyone.
You keep ownership of the photos and captions you post. By posting them, you give Kairo permission to store and display them to the friends you share a circle with — that’s it. We don’t use your postcards for advertising, and we don’t sell them.
Kairo only works if it stays a place people trust. So, no:
If a friend posts something that violates these standards, you can remove them from your circle and report it to us at hello@gettingkairo.com. We review reports promptly and will remove violating content and, if needed, suspend or terminate the account responsible — typically within 24 hours.
We can suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms or the community standards above. You can delete your own account at any time from Settings in the app, or by emailing us.
Kairo is provided as-is. We work to keep it reliable, but we don’t guarantee it will always be available or error-free.
To the extent allowed by law, Kairo isn’t liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing here limits liability where the law doesn’t allow it.
We may update these terms as Kairo grows. If we make a material change, we’ll let you know in the app before it takes effect.
